Resumen:
Rain water infiltration is the recharge source of the aquifers in the Pampa region. Chemicaland isotopic techniques applications in recharge studies are useful and well known. Thedevelopment of laser spectrometry techniques in isotopic ratios determination greatly facilitated data acquisition. In this context seven rainwater monthly composite collectors were installed in the Southern Spurs of Tandilia range for chemical and isotopic characterization.Chemical characterization is based on 50 water samples analyses, obtaining the following mean values: pH 7,35, SDT 23,98 mg/L, HCO3 - 104,23 mg/L, Ca+2 8,16 mg/L, Cl- 19,58 mg/L, CE 60,72 μS/cm, F- 0,38 mg/L, K+ 1,61 mg/L, Mg+2 4,93 mg/L, Na+ 14,77 mg/L, NO3 -1.83 mg/L, SiO2 2,69 mg/L, and SO4 -2 9,41 mg/L. Regarding to isotopic composition, local preliminary meteoric water line is δ2H=(8,05±0,16)δ18O+(11,10±0,90)? with deuterium excess >10, which characterize the precipitation of the region. The average values for precipitation are δ18O -5.1 ? and δ2H -30?.
