Resumen:
At the South of Córdoba province chemical and isotopic precipitation information is being recorded, useful to develop hydrogeological models. The purpose of this paper is to analyze chemical and isotopic precipitation data, linking to climate variations, to know deeply the main input to hydrological systems. The climate regime is of thermal uniformity and contrasting rainfall seasonality. The rainfalls, with low salinity, are mainly calcium sulfate type and very slightly acidic. In spring-summer precipitation exhibits lower pH and EC than other seasons and shows the most isotopic enrichment in spring. The obtained local meteoric line is representative of a large region in the South of Cordoba province. Variations of deuterium excesses are evidences of different origins of air masses (related to recycled vapor linked to the Low Level Jet). In mountain areas, surface water isotopic depletion would reveal more impoverished precipitation than in the plain (continental effect or fractionation at lower temperatures).
