Resumen:
A paleomagnetic study was carried out in 28 sampling sites on volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks of the Los Menucos Complex, outcropping in the North Patagonian Massif, Argentina. Preliminary results allow determining that most of the units are carriers of high quality magnetic remanences, defining the Complexas a potential source of reference paleomagnetic pole for the Triassic. At least two acquisition events were recognized, an older one linked to a predominantly reverse geomagnetic field and another younger exclusively normal, recorded in 16 and 11 sites respectively.
