Resumen:
The aim of this work was to construct a frequency  histogram with a sample of PGP activity in lymphocytes  and to study the performance of a binormal distribution adjustment for the whole group and, a male, and a female only group (age between 20 and 60 years). The limphocytic PGP activity (FR) was measured by the extrusion   of Rodamina 123 followed for flow cytometry in the presence and absence of verapamil, a PGP inhibitor. ¨For the whole group (n=61): the histogram was adjusted by a mixed distribution of a proportion p= 0.70 of a normal distribution with mean m1=2.11 and standard deviation s1=0.43, and a proportion (1-p)=0.30 of a normal with mean m2=3.29 and standard deviation s2= 0.26. That is FR= 0.70 x N (2.11; 0.43) + 0.30 x N (3.29; 0.26) ¨For the female group (n=36) it was obtained: FR= 0.82 x N (2.09; 0.48) + 0.18 x N (3.37; 0.12) ¨For the male group (n=25) it was obtained: FR= 0.56 x N (2.18; 0.35) + 0.44 x N (3.25; 0.31) In all the cases the performance of the adjustment was checked by the  Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Conclusion: there were no statistical differences shown between the whole group and each single sex group in relation with the distribution.
