Resumen:
Kiss1 neurons/cells co-express GABAB receptors (GABABR) and GABA is an important regulator of their physiology. Kiss1 expression is a key factor in the control of reproduction, sexual behavior and anxiety. Recently, we found Kiss1 overexpression in male mice lacking GABABR (KO) in the medial amygdala (MeA) and the basal nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST), areas associated with sexual behavior and anxiety.
