In previous studies using several experimental models expressing different progesterone receptor (PR) isoform ratios, wehave shown that only those with high levels of isoform A (PRA) are inhibited by antiprogestins whereas those with high levels ofisoform B (PRB) are resistant to antiprogestin therapy.
