Resumen:
In this talk we describe the Grassmann manifold given by projections which commute with a fixed projection. It contains the so-called restricted Grassmannian. The Hopf-Rinow theorem is studied in each connected component, and examples related to shift-invariant subspaces and Toeplitz operators are presented.
