In this work we propose different con- trol algorithms for satellite formation flying con- trol. In particular a PTOS control (Proximate Time- Optimal Servomechanism) is proposed as a time- optimal method for formation reconfiguration and MPC (Model Predictive Control) for satellite forma- tion maintenance. The proposed methods are evalu- ated with a non-linear model and compared with LQR control, which is standard technique for satellite for- mation flying.
