Resumen:
Our aim was to evaluate zootechnical value(ZV) post-exclusion in degraded halophytic rangelands for overgrazingin Flooding Pampa, Argentina. Vegetation cover (VC) and ZV were measured from1999 to 2015 at three exclosures placed in 1999, 2004 and 2010. In all exclosures,VC and ZV increased post-exclusion, the most important increases wereregistered during the first three years. The greater ZV was explained mainly byincreased relative cover of species or functional groups with greater foragevalue.
