Resumen:
The aim of our study was to interpret the dynamics of soil organiccarbon (SOC) post-exclusion, under the hypothesis that the exclusionsregenerate (SOC) and modify the community functioning. SOC and the abovegroundnet primary productivity (ANPP) were measured every three years until 2013 inthree exclusions installed from 1999, 2004 and 2010. In all cases, SOC and ANPPincreased postexclusion. The most important increases were registered duringthe first three years, tending to stabilise as of the sixth year. Our resultsconcluded that, in the region, exclusions would be a strategic way toregenerate SOC.
