Resumen:
Potato rough dwarf virus (PRDV) and potato virus P (PVP), two South American Carlavirus, were reported to have a high degree of similarity by immunological (Butzonich et al. 1996), molecular and biological means (Massa et al. 2006 and Nisbet et al. 2006). Based of these evidences they were catalogued as strains of the same species (Massa et al. 2006 and Nisbet et al. 2006).
