Resumen:
A new procedure was carried out for the synthesis of nucleoside 5?-monophosphates, involving the use of two enzymes. phospholipase D and phospholipase C. The regioselectivity of these enzymes avoids protection steps, the overall synthesis is performed under mild reaction conditions and product isolation is easily achieved. In particular, acyclic nucleosides are potential antiviral and antitumor agents. Their preparation through a novel chemoenzymatic procedure involves the N-alkylation of a nucleobase and the subsequent aldol condensation catalyzed by a phosphate-dependant aldolase (RAMA). Among the obtained compounds, a seco analogue of vidarabine monophosphate is reported for the first time
