Resumen:
This chapter describes the electropolymerization of porphyrins that provides densely packed layers that facilitate the electron hopping process between macrocycles. Also, cover the different techniques employed to monitor the polymerization process such as cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, absorption spectroscopy, microscopy and an electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance.
