Agglutinated benthic foraminiferal mosphogrous of LB2 Member, La Barca Formation, in Cabo José-Punta Ainol area (Paleocene, Austral Basin, Argentina). Calcareous nannofossil and foraminifera of the LB2 Member, La Barca Formation, Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, Austral Basin are presented. According to the nannofossil assemblage recovered, the LB2 Member of La Barca Formation in Cabo José-Punta Ainol area, is of late Paleocene age. Foraminiferal assemblage is dominated by agglutinated forms that represent the epifaunal agglutinated morfogroups M4a, M3a, M2c and M1. Scarce specimens assigned to the deep infaunal agglutinated morfogroup M4b were also identified. This grouping is interpreted as pooerly deep marine oportunistic fauna, associated to bottom eutrophic conditions.
