Resumen:
Signs of synsedimentary tectonic activity in fluvial volcaniclastic successions: the case of Cerro Barcino Formation, Cretaceous of Patagonia, Argentina. Sedimentological and stratigraphical data about synsedimentary tectonic activity from the fluvial volcaniclastic succession of the Cerro Castaño and Las Plumas members (Cerro Barcino Formation, Cretaceous of Patagonia) were documented and evaluated. This information allowed increasing the understanding of the environmental modifications of the recorded volcaniclastic systems, which are commonly appraised as a response of the pyroclastic sediment supply.
