Resumen:
First record of Mirinaba fusoides (Bequaert, 1948) and the genus Mirinaba Morretes, 1952 in the Republica Argentina. This species inhabits the Subtropical Rainforest in the north of Misiones Province. The finding of this conspicuous gastropod for the first time in areas of progressive destruction demand an extensive field study of the mollusks of Misiones province for stating and implementing the protection of its high biodiversity.
