CO-FINANCED SCHOLARSHIPS

Scientists are going to study in the USA with the support of the CONICET and the Fulbright Commission

There are sixteen researchers selected to carry out working stays for three months.


As part of the call of the external postdoctoral fellowships cofinanced by the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and the Department of State of the USA through the Fulbright Commission, sixteen researchers of the Council are going to carry out working stays in different training centers of the USA.

This is the list of the selected scientists:

– BARRERA DIAZ, Deicy Amparo, assistant researcher at the Instituto de Física Aplicada “Dr. Jorge Andrés Zgrablich” (INFAP, CONICET-UNSL).

– BARRIONUEVO, Pablo Alejandro, assistant researcher at the Instituto de Investigación en Luz, Ambiente y Visión (ILAV, CONICET-UNT).

– BARRIOS GARCIA MOAR, María Noelia, assistant researcher at the Parque Nacional “Nahuel Huapi”

– BUENO, María del Pilar, assistant researcher at the Escuela de Relaciones Internacionales, Facultad de Cs. Políticas y Relaciones Internacionales of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario.

– CARDOSO, Yamila Paula, Laboratorio de Sistemática y Biología Evolutiva at the  Facultad de Cs. Naturales and the Museum of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata.

– CHIARINI, Franco Ezequiel, assistant researcher at the Instituto Multidisciplinario de Biología Vegetal (IMBIV, CONICET-UNC).

– CORREA, Soledad, at the Instituto de Filología Clásica, Facultad de Filosofía y Letras of the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

– GONZALEZ PISANI, Pablo Andrés, associate researcher at the Instituto de Física La Plata (IFLP, CONICET-UNLP).

– HECKER, Yanina Paola, assistant researcher at the Estación Experimental Agropecuaria Balcarce, Centro Regional Buenos Aires Sur, Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA).

– LOIZAGA DE CASTRO, Rocío, assistant researcher at the Centro para el Estudio de los Sistemas Marinos (CESIMAR-CONICET).

– MARTINEZ, Leandro Carlos Alcides, associate researcher at the Instituto de Botánica Darwinion (IBODA; (CONICET – Academia Nacional de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales).

– PARAJE, María Gabriela, independent researcher at the Instituto Multidisciplinario de Biología Vegetal (IMBIV, CONICET-UNC).

– RODRIGUEZ CABAL, Mariano, associate researcher at the Instituto de Investigaciones en Biodiversidad y Medioambiente (INIBIOMA, COICET-UNCOMA).

– SANCHEZ, María Laura, assistant researcher at the Instituto de Ecología, Genética y Evolución de Buenos Aires (IEGEBA, CONICET-UBA).

– STROK, Natalia, assistant researcher at the Centro de Estudios de Filosofía Medieval, Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad de Buenos Aires.

– FERNANDEZ ALONSO, José Marcelino, assistant researcher at the Escuela de Relaciones Internacionales, Facultad de Cs. Políticas y Relaciones Internacionales of the  Universidad Nacional de Rosario.

The joint call with the Fulbright program –which is present in 155 countries and is considered as one of the most prestigious worldwide initiatives of educational and cultural exchange- is one of the multiple options that CONICET offers with other international organisms.
