Resumen:
The interaction between first human population of South America and the native fauna thathad inhabit this continent it is not very well studied (Borrero 2009) despite the great amountand variability of species that were present in the Pleistocene- Holocene transition. (Cione etal. 2003, 2009) The Pampas region of Argentina was one of the richest zones in the continent, the discovering of different mammals and megamammals skeleton in this sector allowed thedefinition of the cronostratigraphy of the entire continent (Patterson and Pascual 1968).In this way, the aim of this paper is to evaluate the human impact over the native fauna of theNortheast of Buenos Aires Province –included in the Pampas Region- during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition
