Resumen:
Glycans are key molecules in many phys-iological and pathological processes. As with othermolecules, like proteins, visualization of the 3Dstructures of glycans add valuable information forunderstanding their biological function. Hence, herewe introduce Azahar, an environment for the creation, visualization and analysis of glycan molecules. Azaharis implemented in Python and works as a pluginfor the well known PyMOL package [1]. Besides thealready available visualization and analysis optionsprovided by PyMOL, Azahar includes 3 cartoon-likerepresentations and tools for 3D structure carac-terization such as a comformational search using aMonte Carlo with minimization routine and also toolsto analyse single glycans or trajectories/ensemblesincluding radius of gyration, Ramachandran plots andhydrogen bonds. Azahar is freely available to installathttp://www.pymolwiki.org/index.php/Azaharandthesourcecodeisavailableathttps://github.com/agustinaarroyuelo/Azahar
