Resumen:
The relevance of the quenching effect induced by charge-exchange collective fields and Ä-isobar-hole excitations is discussed in the case of the â-ã angular correlations in the decay of 208Tl to 5-1,4-1 and 5-2 levels in 208Pb. It is found that, although these effects give rise to a large hindrance of the â-moments, they influence the anisotropy factor only very weekly. Satisfactory agreement between theoretical predictions and experimental data is obtained for all the transitions.
