Resumen:
Many viralpathogens cycle between human and insects. These pathogens must adapt to use different cellularmachineries and overcome different types of antiviral responses. Although themechanisms of arthropod-borne virus evolution for host adaptation are still notwell understood, new ideas are beginning to shed light into these processes. Inthis symposium, new models of viral evolution and adaptation to different hostenvironments as well as viral sensing mechanisms in insect and humans will bediscussed.
