Resumen:
PVA ferrogels were obtained by swelling physical hydrogels (synthesized by freezing/thawing (FT) technique) in Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) aqueous solution. Different samples were prepared by varying numbers of FT cycles applied (1-4). All ferrogel samples were studied by thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) analysis, and magnetic measurements. The DSC results showed the higher the number of FT cycles, the higher the crosslinking density. The thermograms pointed out that the NPs affect the thermal stability of each ferrogels. These results reveal that ferrogels might have a potential for applications in biomedical applications.
