Resumen:
The aim of this paper is to discuss the method of determination of the interaction parameter bycomparing blends and block copolymers of poly (methyl methacrylate) and poly(ε-caprolactone) well characterized..•The lattice-fluids binary parameters for energy and volume, of mixtures are higher than those of block copolymers denoting that block copolymers are more compatible due the chemical link between blocks.•Mixture energy parameters have similar values to interaction parameters determined from Leibler´stheory but these do not show a linear dependency withthe inverse of temperature denoting, thus thepossibility of composition influence.
