Resumen:
Environmental management of industrial waste allows the cancellation of the pol-luting potential, the use of its energy value and facilitates its recycling. Hence, is relevant the knowledge of waste generated by each producer and also its type. To obtain exact values of the industrial waste a census would be required, which implies a great effort with little chance of success. This is due to the reluctance of the industry to deliver this kind of information. The amount of waste generated by industry is a function of technology, raw materials and intermediate products used, of the physical and chemical properties of the auxiliary materials, the employee quantity, the energy consumed and the product packaging. The technology is determined by the availability of raw materials and energy. This paper uses the knowledge of an expert in this area to estimate industrial waste by modeling the waste generation with natural language. We consider that a fuzzy logic approach is an adequate tool to build the model of environmental risk of different industries.
