Resumen:
Polymer blend nanocomposites containing an elastomer and reinforcing filler have attracted much attention due to the incorporation of the properties of both polymer blends and polymer nanocomposites. Polypropylene (PP)/thermoplastic vulcanizated (TPV)/clay nanocomposites could be such high performance materials. Through this work the influence of the addition of TPV and nanoclay on the performance of intricate PP double-gated injected mouldings that include weld lines was evaluated. The compounding of hybrid composites has shown to be successful.
