Resumen:
Concerns in excess of packaging waste
have increase industrial and scientific interests in the field of biopolymeric
materials [1]. Poly(hydroxybutyrate) (PHB) is a well-known
biodegradable, hydrophobic and semicrystalline polyester, that can be use in
packaging applications in replacement of non degradable commodity polymers [2,3].
In this work two-layer films
were prepared by hot pressing a PHB film and a cellulose paper sheet. Permeation
and uniaxial tensile properties of films
containing 5, 10, 15 and 20 wt% of PHB were investigated.
