Summary In this work, we synthesized BaSnO3 using two chemical methods: controlled precipitation and Pechini. Later, we determined the better condition to obtain the mixed oxides. This powder was mix with glycerin obtained a paste that we put over alumina substrate. With the obtained powders thin films were prepared using the screen printing technique. The films were thermally treated up to 100°C during 12 hours.  Finally, these treated films were tested to determine their ability as gas sensor. In order to analyze the films electrical behaviors, samples were exposed to O2 and CO atmospheres. The results showed that the film shaped with powders obtained by Pechini method presented better response as CO sensor.
