Resumen:
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) could be
incorporated into implantable devices enhancing
its bioactivity1. Recently, electrospun fibers of
PRP solely enabled controlled release of growth
factors and increased cell proliferation and
infiltration into the scaffold2. Moreover, aligned
architecture may improve cell orientation in
tissues with a specialized direction3. The aim of
this work was to obtain random and aligned
PRP:PLLA scaffolds and evaluate the alignment
and PRP effect on mesenchymal stem cells
(MSC).
