Resumen:
Fluorinated polyurethanes are valuable materials as functional polymers, with excellent surface properties such as hydrophobicity, oleophobicity, low surface energy and low coefficients of friction. In this work the fluorine surface enrichment is explored in order to generate hydrophobic polyurethanes. The surface nanostructure is studied using novel atomic force microscopy (AFM) techniques, such as local dielectric spectroscopy (LDS) and HarmoniX. The LDS in combination with AFM and dielectric imaging give a powerful medium to distinguish chemical properties of the polymer surface.
