Resumen:
In this work, the rheological behavior of polypropylene (PP) based composites with different CaCO3 content was investigated. Composites modified with maleic anhydride grafted PP (MAPP) were also studied. The aim of this work was to determine the effect of filler content and the addition of MAPP as a The incorporation of MAPP led to reduced tendency of the CaCO3 particles to form agglomerates as revealed from rheological and multifractal analysis. Therefore, in the modified composites filler particles were found to be better dispersed in the PP matrix. Maleic anhydride grafted PP behaved as an effective coupling agent in our composites.
